Seasonal Campaign for Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation Covid Relief Platform: Experiential OOH, Social, Partnerships, Display, Print
Get people donating and volunteering for PowerOf, a COVID-relief organization sponsored by The Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation,
during a time when people’s energy and wallets were depleted and charitable asks were coming in from all sides.
We created a traveling art installation consisting of the PowerOf name on a large neon sign, which served the dual function of
drawing eyes and attention to the local businesses where it was placed while soliciting donations and recruiting volunteers
via an interactive kiosk and signage. Limited-edition coffee sleeve drops featuring artwork from a diverse group of female and
BIPOC artists and influencers furthered PowerOf’s reach while boosting the visibility of underrepresented artists and helping
shop owners save on supplies. Animated videos and GIFs brought the illustrations to life on social in a multi-phased campaign
that launched on Giving Tuesday and ran throughout the holidays.
Businesses saw an increase in foot traffic, the client used the positive learnings from the campaign to inform other lines of business,
and the technology deployed in the sign became a case study/model for agency innovation.
